The facility needs to be upgraded to meet the Unified Facility Code (UFC) 4-510-01 Design: Medical Facilities standards and Office of Statewide Health Planning Development (OSHPD) 3. The required restoration will provide the customer with the basic electrical system demand for power and lighting distribution based on the typical Branch Dental Clinic space requirements and associated Electronic Medical Diagnostic equipment, associated offices and support rooms, and maintenance spaces.</span></div>

The work will provide for the repair and renovation of Building 3202, Mercer Hall Galley at Naval Station San Diego. The exterior repairs include renovation of covered walkway canopy structures, shade structures, patio concrete, planter walls, sidewalks, and galley signs. Existing landscape will be replaced and xeriscape decorative rock and drought-tolerant plants will be installed. Exterior doors will also be replaced. The interior repairs include removing and replacing the existing t-bar ceiling, replacing ceramic floor tiles and carpet, replacing lighting, upgrading the bathrooms to meet code, and providing a new fire sprinkler system throughout the galley. The project scope also contains Option Items 0001-0004, as described herein.</span></span></div>
